Beginning of this Diary of change which was started 13 days ago. Changing my sleep habits. Eating more. Haven't changed my diet yet. I have only exercised for 3 days. My starting weight was 256 and yesterday I weighed in at 249 that is down 7 lbs.
In the past, I didn't trace meridians or rub my neurolymphatics. They are so important and I didn't know the value of them until now. They give me extra energy. They clean and detoxify. They let the body move. I usually can't sweat and I am beginning to sweat again. I also did not sleep in the circadian natural rhythm. I was going against myself. They say, (help to sleep) "Get enough sleep." (also check how important sleep is) There is growing evidence that sleeping can help you lose weight. Your body repairs, regenerates, and even burns calories when you’re asleep. Research is now showing that people who don’t get enough sleep, or who are night owls, have a more sluggish metabolism. For maximum results, make sure you are in your deepest sleep between 11pm and 3am. These are the hours when the cells of your body are designed to rejuvenate.
I decided to measure myself because I found great information that women carry fat different then men. Inches are important then the scale. I am being guided to find a lot of cool information that help a person to achieve. I will be sharing all my results. I feel it is about a before and after type way.
Have an intention
The reason and Intention (intention is everything) I am doing exercise is to improve my health. Old mindset, the benefit is I would lose weight. The benefit now is about once I achieve a healthy alignment with my soul, slimming down may be a result of it. It is time to take back my temple (body) and allow my true self to be in charge over everything in my life. Weight isn't just a number but something that can actually change how we feel about ourselves. Like I said, it is about my whole self.
Losing weight versus slimming down...
Being healthy for me isn't about losing weight, what I learned is the benefit to being in charge means slimming down. Slimming down doesn't always mean losing weight. It may sound odd, but it's possible to get thinner without actually seeing a change in your weight. This happens when you lose body fat while gaining muscle. Your weight may stay the same, even as you lose inches, a sign that you're moving in the right direction. But, if the scale doesn't change, you may not even be aware that you're getting real results. Knowing the difference between losing weight and losing body fat can change how you get results and may even change how you look at your own body.
I compare what you just read to a memory. I remember being on a diet and exercising. My husband and i were in a competition to see who would lose the most weight. He did of course. I gained weight. You talk about discouragement. The lack of knowledge throw me off my center and into missing out on the goodness I had just gained. That memory held me captive until now. Thank God for epiphanies and healing tools.
More knowledge please about the scales...
My weight has a voice. I, being in this body with the lack of knowledge, didn't know to consider the source. When you step on the scale it shows a number but doesn't tell you a whole lot. We end up valuing that number than the truth.
Truth of the weight number
The scale tells you everything: shows your weight in muscle, in fat, water, bones, and organs. A bodybuilder's weight could be off the charts because of extra muscle, but does that mean he's overweight or fat?
Know what you need to know
Crucial information: Knowing your body composition to achieve healthy
- S = Specific
- M = Measurable
- A = Attainable
- R = Realistic
- T = Timely
Measure success by:
- Go by how your clothes fit. If they fit more loosely, you know you're on the right track
- Stamina and endurance improved
- More energy
- Be more flexible - body complains less.
- Take your measurements to see if you're losing inches
- Set performance goals. Instead of worrying about weight loss or fat loss, focus on completing a certain number of workouts each week.
On average, women store between five and ten percent more fat than men and this is because it is nature. The ability to store more fat during childbearing age. Obviously, additional fat storage is beneficial for women in times of fertility, fetal development and lactation.
Scientists at the University of South Wales (UNSW) have published a study in Obesity Reviews, a journal of the International Association for the Study of Obesity, The study focuses in particular on the role of estrogen in the distribution of fat in the female body. While men are prone to store visceral fat around the vital organs, also known as belly fat, woman typically accumulate subcutaneous fat around the hips and thighs – at least until they reach menopause. With post-menopausal hormonal changes, however, many women experience a “shift” in fat distribution toward the waist.
Men tend to store fat on the surface of the body, often on the outside of the stomach area. Most females store fat internally at first. Thousands of areas between muscle cells are filled up first. Many young women feel that some dramatic change has occurred around the age of 30 when they suddenly start showing fat accumulation on the outside of their bodies, while maintaining the same diet and level of exercise. They’ve actually been storing fat inside for many years. Once the inner areas are filled, women notice a dramatic change on the outside of their thighs or stomachs, often in less than a year.
I remember this was true for me. It was when I was 28 years old. I was 5'8" and I weight 150 lbs. I became pregnant. I had gained 30 lbs and you couldn't see it. I asked the doctor then, "Where is it going?" My pants sizes hadn't changed. The doctor told me that I have to put some weight on, on the inside of me so my body will support me to carry my baby.
See you tomorrow. Maybe I will do a video to show you how I trace my meridians. Remember to follow the mental, emotional and spiritual change. Read Diary of change Blog-Soulology.
